Imagine

Yeah, I like the song! But beyond that, I made my family laugh this week (I know, again!). For technical reasons (someone took the rechargeable batteries away from home...hmhm...Laurie), no photos (at least yet, perhaps I'll do my numbers again), but you have imagination, right?! They laughed so hard (not sure why, but since my readers are human too, I thought you might laugh hard too), I thought I would share with you. This week, I was found
*going around with a duster in my mouth (what?! I was just trying to help Jean-Edouard dusting!)
* waking up-day-playing-sleeping with my green apple smelling jolly ball (hey, it's holyday season for me too!)
*with snow on my nose, many times (yes, my wish to see snow again has been granted! Grant me my other wish, and play with the counter below to help dogs in search of a family...)
Speaking of which, my American cousin, Atlas (he is the one who told me about the jolly ball), arrived at Marie's home through a great rescue organization called Lucky Dogs. If you love dogs and animals and are looking for an organization to donate to this holyday season, give to them. They take pets like Atlas away from cold floors and little love to a happy life. Thank you lucky dogs!

Find me!

Hi everyone! There is this huge white cover outside. It's cold, slippery, eatable, and, best of all with the eatable part, perfect for me to hide and play spy! PIKABOOO! I am told it's called snow. I hope I see it again.

Welcome to my Blog!

Hi everyone! Welcome to my blog!
I am now 6 months old, 30 kilos, and just had my first off leash experience in an open space: a field with hills behind them. I live in Belgium in the province of Hainaut. A long time ago, there were a lot of mining activities around here. When the mines closed down, the coal was pilled up in hills all around and trees were planted on them. That's where I went this weekend with Alex and Marie. It was super cool, and I came back all muddy! But I am all soft and good smelling now, no worries. Alex and Marie cleaned me up...the mud and the tomato sauce...because I finished up a bit of pasta in a pan (I was allowed to!) and my ears got a lot of tomato sauce on them.
I am becoming really well-behaved. I go to school every Sunday with other retrievers, and I do sit-lay down-go to your chair-stay/wait-go get-find...and let's go for a walk very well. Alex is working on teaching me other tricks, we'll see how I do with those!
I am still trying to become friend with Oliver and Nala (the cats) but they continue to be afraid of me (?!) although Oliver is starting to understand, I think, that I am not that dangerous. In any case, I will keep trying!
My masters say I give them "plein de bonheur" [masters confirm]. It's like that: we love each other a lot, we play a lot, and we hug a lot!
I wish all dogs could have a nice home. Check out my social vibe below, you can help dogs with just a few clicks! Take care, and til soon! I am going to bed...perhaps I'll snore--I usually do when I am really tired.
