Sun in Belgium, what what?!

Ok, I know it will be hard for you to believe me but I have picture proves a l'appui:
1. There is sun in Belgium
Proof: Kira bronze.
2. My sister is a princess
Proof: to your left, and below

So the question is: if Kira is a princess, does it mean I get to be a prince? Even tough the only thing that makes me stop run after a rabbit is a big puddle of [smelly] mud? But I did take a bath right after! And even tough I have to wear this ridiculous underwear for a few days after my little surgery? Kira, what do you say?

Hmm, ok, since you are clean now and that your funny underwear is only temporary, you can be a prince.

fun fact of the day!

Kira has a little injury on her nose and so when she goes outside she needs sunscreen. I asked for some too, because it's fun to try to catch our nose with our tongue!

Kira sourit! And I like Monkeys (the chunky kind).

Disclaimer: Chocolate is BAD for dogs, so I am not allowed to eat B and B Chunky Monkeys. So the best I can do is find the empty B and b countainer and pput my nose in it and smell the deliciousness!

It's picture day!! (Finally and as promised)

Je joue avec JED et cerf-volant...y compris a PIKABOO!!

Je veille sur Marie apres un long voyage. Ensuite, ma photo de jeune premier (remember, slow down ladies!)

Wouaaa, après toutes ses émotions I am tired!

Il est donc temps de piquer un roupillon, y compris avec ma nouvelle sister Kira!
Now, an update on my sister: I think she is starting to like the house a lot because yesterday she just would not go outside, except on the terrasse! I think she is also going to be the dog pack leader for a while when I am still a teenager. More pictures of Kira and us soon, promise.

I think I just became bedless

Heuh, je dors ou moi, sister?
Ah, on va aller chercher un deuxieme panier comme ca!
But it's ok, you can stay there for now. You need to get lots of good and comfortable rest so you can play with me soon! You already started to run after me in the yard today. It's so fun! I also saw you protect the house when you barked at people getting too close to our garden. They better not mess with my strong woman of a sister, I can tell! See sister, life has already become a bit better!

Today is a day of progress

Hello world, here is Jafar!

Today is a day of progress, and more progress.

First, President Obama launched his 2012 campaign. Marie is really excited because if all goes well she will be allowed to vote for President Obama (see now she is not a double citizen yet, but soon).

Then I am going to start a journal and document the progress of my sister Kira.
This is her second full day with us.
Yesterday, she was afraid of the living room--except when she forgot bathroom is outside and not inside. Well, it's understandable, she is dealing with lots of changes.
Today, she explored the living room, and went to the bathroom outside. She is one fast learner!
We are still trying to decide who is the leader of the dog pack...

A+

Woufchoum!
A bientot, Kira.

A manifesto against idiots

1. Idiots who burn books and idiots who kill UN people, seriously, what the hell is wrong with you?!
2. To the idiot who threated my new sister Kira (that's her name!) badly: you better watch your bottom because if I ever find you, I might not have very sharp teeth but my cousin Atlas promised me to show me how his Burundian friends, the hippos, give a lesson to people who bother them.

We picked up Kita yesterday! I am really happy to have her here and I realize how hard my job to help her is going to be. But it's ok, sis, I am stubborn and you'll see, we'll get there, I'll show you life can be really good so you don't think you have to escape (see, we found you back and are still giving you hugs), stand all the time (you have started to relax a bit, now at least you lay down and enjoy petting, brushing, and massages...ahah and that means I get massages too!), worry about food (my food is good, hein?!), and one day you'll see you won't be afraid of humans anymore, and you'll understand there are only good consequences for playing! Yes! Let's give each other a chance!

We found some good articles on how to care for dogs who have been abused:
http://translate.google.com/translate?js=n&prev=_t&hl=en&ie=UTF-8&layout=2&eotf=1&sl=en&tl=fr&u=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.suite101.com%2Fcontent%2Fadopting-an-abused-dog-a51371

and we are following those really good advice. My friend the vet is also stopping by today and he'll probably have additional good advice. And and and...it always dog bath time! We are going to smell soo good!

Pictures of me at 10 months and pictures of Kira coming today!
No pictures of idiots, they don't deserve it.

Til soon,
wouf wouf,
Jaffar
